Grace Pleats Australia Pty Ltd (“GracePleats”) reserves the right at times to change or add to these Terms and Conditions.


Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website or offline in our local showrooms. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear on the Site. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate. Please be aware, variations in style, color, size, fabric, and shape may occur. Thus we encourage you to try our Free Swatches Service, Try On At Home Service or directly visit our local showroom.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer.


GracePleats, including our directors, partners, shareholders, employees and other third parties associated in preparing this Form is not liable to the maximum extent permitted by law to you or anyone else for any loss of income, profit, contracts, goodwill or financial loss or damage without limitation suffered as a result of negligence or otherwise arising in connection with use of this Form or the products sold on it. With the execution of this order, the total liability of GracePleats in connection with this business, whether directly or indirectly, whether immediate or consequential shall in no circumstances exceed the total price of the product you have ordered.


Prices are subject to change without notice. There may be duties and taxes added to your package by the destination country. You will be responsible for these upon delivery and are not included in your order total. Countries with the nominated currencies of AUD, NZD or USD will be charged in these currencies. All other non-specified currencies are charged in AUD – the prices showing on the website are approximate and the actual exchange rate charged on your credit card is set by your bank or credit card provider.


If you need to cancel your order in extreme circumstances, you can only do so providing your gown hasn’t begun production. You must contact to discuss the circumstances surrounding the cancellation well in advance of your production date. Below is our cancelation policy and related fee occurred within different circumstances:

  • Within 1 day or 24 hours of order confirmation           100% Refund
  • Within 3 days or 72 hours of order confirmation          60% Refund
  • Within 5 days or 168hours of order confirmation         40% Refund

There is a $50 cancellation fee to cover the cost of administration, resource preparation and pattern production associated with your order.


The delivery lead times provided in this Form are estimates only however, all orders require a minimum of 10 weeks to manufacture and deliver. For further information on deliveries please refer to our ‘Tailoring and Shipping’ page.

Taxes, Duties and Customs Charges 

Shipping within Australia

When shipping within Australia via Australian Post. Goods and Services Tax (GST) is not included in the product price and will be charged additionally when you sum and make the payment.

Shipping to the rest of the World

Order placed to be shipped to other country is priced in Australian Dollars and are delivered on a Delivery Duties Unpaid (DDU) basis. As these orders are shipped DDU you may be charged duties and taxes by your local customs authority.  Duties and taxes are calculated based on what item was ordered, the value and the destination of that order.  We are unable to estimate what these charges will be as they are levied by your local customs authority and vary from Country to Country.  All charges must be paid by the customer to ensure your order is released by customs, failure to do so may cause your delivery to be abandoned.  We will not be held responsible for any loss or damage caused by the abandonment of your delivery.

Returns Policy

As your dress is made especially for you, to your dress size and height, we are unable to offer returns.  All our items undergo high-grade professional quality control to ensure fabrics and manufacturing is of the highest standard.  We will not be responsible for changes in size due to weight gain or loss.  In the unlikely circumstance of a manufacturing fault, items can be returned for a replacement or repair. In this case, you must contact within 3 days of receipt of the item, and returned to us within 7 days if located in Australia and 14 days for overseas customers.

Postage will be paid by us in the event of a manufacturing fault, however for any alterations due to changes in size or customer fault, freight and alteration costs will be on-charged to the customer. Any dresses being returned must be returned in the original packaging.


If upon receiving your dress(es) you are not happy with the fit, we welcome you to contact our consultant in this Form or directly send email to our customer service team ( for full assessment before making any alterations.  If you choose not to contact us for assessment, you are liable for any alterations costs.

As all of our products are hand-sewn and custom-tailored, the finished product may vary by approximately one (1) centimeter in either direction of the specified measurements. To ensure that your item will still fit you perfectly, our tailors have created all our dresses with additional fabric in the seams to allow minor size modifications to be made easily. You can make minor adjustments at a local tailor or, place an alteration service order with us.

If the misfit is solely caused by us, we will provide free alteration as soon as possible.  If the misfit is solely caused by your negligence, you can place an alteration service order and send the dress to our local showroom.  If the repair is major change, and it need to engage the designer, please contact us.

Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this business, You and GracePleats shall work out a resolution of the dispute in good faith. If both are unable to resolve the dispute within thirty(30)business days, either one can submit it to a court of law with competent jurisdiction in Australia for determination, with its own attorney fee and expenses

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms of Use, or the rights and obligations of the you or GracePleats in connection with the Form, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of Australia without regard to conflicts of law principles. All users consent to the jurisdiction and venue of Australian courts.

This Form is owned and prepared by GracePleats and filled by its partner or independent consultant. Unless otherwise specified, all materials and information appearing on this Form, including the text, logos, graphics, icons, and images, as well as the selection, assembly and arrangement thereof, are the sole property of Grace Pleats Australia Pty Ltd.

No materials from this site may be copied, reproduced, modified, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any form or by any means without GracePleats’s prior written permission.

All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved. Any unauthorized use of the materials appearing on this Form may violate copyright, trademark and other applicable laws and could result in criminal or civil penalties.
